Join us this year as adaptive mountain biking makes its return at the Dunbar Summer Series. Starting July 17th at Fernie Alpine Resort, July 20th at Panorama and July 24th Kicking Horse. This series will play host to the BC Cup, BC Open, Canada Cup and Canadian Nationals. To top it all off, this year at Nationals there will be a new trophy to win, the CAMBA (Canadian Adaptive Mountain Biking Association) Cup, given to the best riders at the aMTB Downhill World Championships.
Kootenay Adaptive, in partnership with the Dunbar Summer Series, is bringing back the first of its kind adaptive mountain biking race series. Podium events at each race, with accumulated points for every stop in the summer series going towards the BC Cup (Fernie, Panorama, Kicking Horse July 17-24).
New to racing? These courses aren’t just your typical flow trails. Riders will need to know how to handle technical terrain, including rocks roots and roll downs. Join our race development clinic in July, just before the start of the Dunbar Series to prepare for your racing season and to unlock your best results.
