Back in June 2022, Bowhead Corp. created some buzz on social media by teasing renderings of their newest offering, a delta configuration recumbent handcycle. Today, the Canadian company announced that they have started accepting orders for the new cycle, officially called the Rogue FS/E Adventure-E Bike.
This latest innovation from Bowhead follows in the footsteps of the Reach and RX adaptive MTB cycles, and shares the same 2 rail frame design. Bowhead says the bike will be available with or without an E-motor option.
Base price is listed at $11,999 for full suspension, Bosch e-motor and standard options. Upgrades include bigger brake rotors, dropper seat post, Titanium frame tubes and electronic shifting. Configured with all of the possible upgrades, the list price settles in around $16,899. All pricing is stated as being introductory, so time will tell where the price goes after the introductory period has ended.
We can’t wait to get some real world reviews on this exciting new bike, and stay tuned for a full review on this bike in the near future.
UPDATE 5/2/2023: Bowhead is now shipping the Rogue, so we should start seeing some pics and videos of it out in the wild. I would love to test one of these out on some trails. If I get the opportunity to test one, I will post a full review.
