OZASA presents a family-friendly, NO COST 3-day Adaptive Cycling Adventure! All abilities and skill levels welcome. Come and RIDE with us!
This ride is for adaptive cyclists, support riders, and families! Adaptive cyclists typically have a physical challenge which makes the use of off-the-shelf upright bicycles difficult. The adaptive rider is often on a handcycle, recumbent, or other modified equipment. This is a 3-day off-road adventure ride is for adaptive cyclists and support riders on the beautiful, and friendly trails of Bentonville, AR.
Join us for 3-days of NO COST rides and activities led by local trail experts. Ride presented by Ozark Adaptive Sports Association (OZASA) promoting adaptive sports in Northwest Arkansas. Visit OZASA on Facebook or at www.OZASA.org.
Schedule:
Thursday, October 27: 7:00pm – 9:00pm; optional test and tune with local bike shop mechanics. Get set up right! Meetup location Bentonville.
Friday, October 28: 9:00am – 1:00pm; Day 1 Trail Ride, ~10-12 miles with less/extra distance options. Ride Location Slaughter Pen area, Bentonville.
Saturday, October 29: 9:00am – 1:00pm; Day 2 Trail Ride, ~10-12 miles with less/extra distance options. Ride Location Little Sugar, Bella Vista.
Sunday, October 30: 9:00am – 12:00pm; Day 3 Trail Ride, ~10 miles with less/extra distance options. Ride Location Coler, Bentonville.
Be sure to sign up for all 4 days! Limited to 25 adaptive riders per day.
Ride maps will be shared with participants in the week prior to the event.
Equipment:
Riders must bring their own bike and provide transportation to/from event. Shop support and assembly is available for pre-shipped bikes.
