DESCRIPTION:2023 PVA’s Pocahontas Off-Road Cycling\, Spring Camp \nCamp dates: Thursday April 12 – Sunday April 16\, 2023 \nPVA is calling on all Paracyclists to join our sports and recreational team at Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield\, Virginia\, where we will be hosting an exciting off-road cycling camp. This location offers some of the best adaptive off-road trails out there\, and it is conveniently located just 20 miles from downtown Richmond. \n– We can support up to 20 qualifying Veteran and\, priority will be given to those cyclists with their own Off-Road Bikes.\n– There are a limited number of loaner Off-Road Paracycles available for issue\, but you must acknowledge your need\nto access them.\n– All training rides will start at Pocahontas State Park\, 10301 State Park Road\, Chesterfield\, Virginia 23832\n– All participants must:\n– Be independent in their activities of daily living\n– Use their own cycling helmet.\n– Nearby Lodging accommodations:\n– Homewood Suite by Hilton\, 12810 Old Stage Rd\, Chester\, VA 23836. Adaptive cyclists typically have a physical challenge which makes the use of off-the-shelf upright bicycles difficult. The adaptive rider is often on a handcycle\, recumbent\, or other modified equipment. This is a 3-day off-road adventure ride is for adaptive cyclists and support riders on the beautiful\, and friendly trails of Bentonville\, AR. \nJoin us for 3-days of NO COST rides and activities led by local trail experts. Ride presented by Ozark Adaptive Sports Association (OZASA) promoting adaptive sports in Northwest Arkansas.
